YMCA x Sidley Partnership
With the opening of the brand new Sidley-funded VYBZ Youth Hub in May 2024, Sidley is now raising funds to support the provision of essential services for over 1,000 young Londoners at VYBZ, which is based at YMCA London City and North’s LandAid House, located less than a mile from Sidley’s London Office.
Sidley's London office launched a dynamic five-year partnership with YMCA in May 2022 to assist vulnerable young people in the local London community by raising vital funds to create and run a brand new youth hub at LandAid House, run by YMCA London City and North.
Opened in May 2024, the innovative VYBZ Youth Hub will reach 1,000+ young people aged 8 to 25 in our five years of partnership and will give even more young Londoners the opportunity to fulfil their potential in the years to come.
VYBZ is now offering term-time after-school programmes, and school holiday enrichment activities and trips in and around London to enhance the physical, social, mental and academic wellbeing of these young people. It also features a cutting-edge recording studio and an open-access creative space for self-expression, as well as a general hangout area to provide a safe and welcoming space for London’s youth.
Join in with fundraising to sustain these vital services and provide additional support such as weekly Homework Club at VYBZ, which is much needed for young people who don't have access to the equipment and/or internet connections they need to complete school work at home.
With support from across Sidley's London office, more young people can feel safe and develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive in their community.
